Pre Shoot Checklist


Thank you for allowing me to visit your property! Please see below for a list of items that will help our shoot run smoothly.

I’ll do my best to be minimally disruptive so that you can get back to business as quickly as possible. Having everything ready to go will be a huge help for me, and will showcase your property in the best possible way.

1-2 Weeks
Prior

  • Send email to residents informing them of closed areas on specified date (posting signs on the day of the shoot is an effective alternative)

  • Check lights and replace non-working bulbs

  • Replace broken/missing furniture, decor, pillows, etc

  • Fill out my Photography Questionnaire online or let me know if you need me to send it


1 Day prior

  • Remove promotional and seasonal materials

  • Clean windows inside and out

  • General interior cleaning (countertops, stainless steel, mirrors, vacuuming, etc)

  • Check pool area (chairs, umbrellas, deck, etc)

  • Check entrance mats and clean/replace/remove as needed


Morning of

  • Place “Closed for photography” signs at appropriate amenities

  • Open pool umbrellas and align pool furniture uniformly

  • Turn off tv’s

  • Move trash bins out of sight

  • Organize free weights in fitness centers

  • Blow fallen leaves from walkways

 

We will be shooting the spaces as-is so please take the time to make sure that they are photo ready.

Problem areas mentioned on this checklist that are not addressed and require extensive retouching, may be subject to additional editing fees.

Areas that are not photographed and that are not noted on the questionnaire may be subject to an additional trip fee if a reshoot is required.
